We are currently seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team at the ESports PC Gaming Center as customer service staff and managers. As an ESports Gaming Center Ambassador, you will be the face of our brand, greeting customers with a warm smile and an upbeat attitude. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, and in promoting our center to the wider gaming community.

We’re looking for team members who can commute within 30 minutes to either site.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and PC games.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Capable of providing friendly and efficient counter-customer service.
Must pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, drug tests, and have a valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age requirement: 18 years.

Duties:

Welcoming customers with a bright smile and positive energy.
Efficient operation of the POS system and counter service.
Guiding customers to computer stations.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of stations and store.
Providing basic tech support for hardware, software, and gaming issues.

Job Types & Schedules:

Part-Time for 2-day weekends schedules:
Weekend-Overnight Shift, 12 am to 8 am, Sat and Sun. (Finish by Sun 8 am)
Weekend-Day Shift, 8 am to 4 pm, Sat and Sun.
Weekend-Evening Shift, 4 pm to 12 am, Sat and Sun.

Full-Time for 5-day weekdays schedules:

Weekday-Overnight Shift, 12 am to 8 am Mon to Fri (5 Days per week)
Weekday-Day Shift, 8 am to 4 pm, Mon to Fri.
Weekday-Evening Shift, 4 pm to 12 am Mon to Fri.

Compensation:

$15 for a three-month probationary period.
$18 after the probationary period.
$1 increases every 12 months.

You will be professionally trained to be experienced in top-notch customer service and management skills at the world-class Lan Center.
Full-time employees are eligible for Health, Vision, and Dental insurance after 12 months.

Promotion Opportunities:

Can apply for the shift manager position after 1-year of work experience at LAN Center. *This is only eligible for a full-time position.
Can apply for the entry-level IT tech position after 1-year work experience at LAN Center. *This is only eligible for a full-time position.

    We are looking for an experienced Event Coordinator to organize excellent events. You will be responsible for every aspect of an event, from choosing venues to evaluating success afterward. An event coordinator must be well-organized and competent in vendor management. Communication skills and attention to detail will set apart the best among the candidates. Add a shot of enthusiasm and passion for the job and you’ll be our ideal candidate. The goal is to organize unforgettable events that will ensure the entertainment of participants and facilitate the completion of business objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Understand requirements for each event
    • Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
    • Book venues and schedule speakers
    • Research vendors and volunteers (Streamers, Tournament MCs and etc.)
    • Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
    • Hire personnel
    • Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations, etc.)
    • Do final checks on the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
    • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
    • Evaluate event’s success and submit reports
    • Event Promotion.

    Skills:

    • Be someone who loves gaming and is a bit of an entrepreneur.
    • Plan and run store-level esports events, game tournaments, and parties.
    • Organize store team members for tournaments and build a practice, and review schedule.
    • Take responsibility for promoting the eSports program through social media, our website, and the gaming community.
    • Produce relevant eSports content on Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, and F&B.
    • Create and maintain a handbook with guidelines and requirements for the eSports program.
    • Take responsibility for developing and enforcing all eSports and arena policies and procedures.
    • Responsible for purchasing, maintaining, and keeping an accurate inventory of all program equipment.
    • Collaborate with store Ops to gather customer feedback.
    • Proven experience as an event coordinator.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and positive interactions with store associates.
    • Research eSports market to follow industry trends and increase appeal to customers.
    • A proven track record of organizing successful events.
    • Software skills for MS Office, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
    • Excellent vendor management skills.
    • Knowledge of basic recruitment practices.
    • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability.
    • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills.
    • Able to handle stress and remain calm.
    • Problem-solving ability.
    • Degree in hospitality management, public relations, or relevant field is preferred
